Just another twenty-something trying to keep in shape and maintain muscle tone. I’m not looking for a quick fix or workouts that supposedly provide instant gratification. If you eat right, exercise regularly, and decrease stress in your life, I believe that the results will come naturally. Also, I want to know more about how my body operates and how food enters into the equation.
I love to eat and I enjoy cooking. Healthy eating doesn’t have to be disgusting or look sad. I like my variety so I try my best to keep things diverse, balanced, and delicious. Since I don’t have time to cook every day, I tend to make most of my meals on the weekends and reheat during the week.
I don’t like gyms and purchasing specialized workout gear. I figure, humans have exercised since the dawn of time without these new-fangled gadgets, I can too. I only use the following workout equipment: yoga mat and blocks, resistance bands, free weights, and running shoes…and they work well for me thus far.
Hopefully, you’ll support me on this journey and take a little piece of hope along the way.

You must be super buff if you’re doing doubles of P90X. My neighbor and I just started to test it out and it’s not easy. Ever try Insanity by Beach Body? They call it insane for a reason
Good luck to you!
Thanks for stopping by! I’m not super buff…nor buff at all, but I do have enough endurance for more cardio. When I was doing the regular workouts, it seemed like there should be another round…and then I found Doubles. I’m looking into Insanity, but I haven’t tried it yet.
i share your quest for simply being health. Everything else will just fall into place.
love this – thanks for the comment! Good luck to you too!
Hi there, good luck on your P90x journey…I too am interested in health and enjoy the P90X and Insanity workouts. I am trying to motivate myself right now to go do a workout (but Sunday is such a lazy day!).
Thanks for stopping by and good luck on your workouts! =)
